Fort Point is a National Historic Site, Museum, and Heritage Park situated at the mouth of the LaHave River, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The views are as picturesque as when Champlain discovered the area in 1604. Our community Museum interprets unique local history, from the native Mi'kmaq culture to French and early European settlers, lighthouse heritage, and the shipping and fishing industries of the area.
