Betsy Williams is a New Mexico potter engaged in wild clay research. She is known for her entirely handmade and handpainted tiny plates. Work is available online and at Rift Gallery in Dixon, New Mexico. Betsy was trained in a traditional Japanese apprenticeship in Karatsu, Japan, and built her own wood kiln upon returning to the United States.
