The Mission of California Coastal Horse Rescue (CCHR) is to rescue abandoned, abused, neglected and slaughter-bound horses and to provide them with a second chance for healthy and productive lives. CCHR also rescues horses whose owners can no longer afford to care for them. CCHR is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer non-profit rescue organization that was started in 2000.
