Littlehampton Lifeboat Station is one of 235 RNLI lifeboat stations around the coast of the UK and Ireland. A charity, funded by voluntary contributions, with all lifeboats crewed by volunteers.
Funded by charitable donations, the lifeboat crews and lifeguards of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution have saved at least 139, 900 lives at sea since 1824.
SOS Radio Week is an annual event that sees Amateur Radio operators throughout the UK and Ireland support RNLI stations through special event stations and fundraising.
This is about a unique project between New Brighton Lifeboat Staion and Wallasey Amateur Photographic Society whereby the Society is making a photographic record of a year in the life of the station
Dunbar Lifeboat Station is located in Dunbar on the South East coast of Scotland, operated by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. The Station currently operates a 'Trent' Class All Weather Lifeboat and a 'D' Class Inshore Lifeboat. The current coxswain is Gary Fairbairn.
We are a very active and successful branch which is part of the South-East region and in our efforts to raise money we try to arrange fund-raising events during the year to cater for all ages and interests.
Whitstable Lifeboat Station operates an Atlantic 85 B-class lifeboat and responds to around 70 emergency calls per year. All crew are volunteers and respond to shouts via a pager system
